We celebrated another Go Skateboarding Day in NYC at LES skatepark this year thanks to Nike SB and Steve Rodriguez. The four hour event consisted of two best trick contests, a high ollie contest and a long ollie contest. Unlike previous years the event didn’t take over the streets skating from borough to borough. Outside the park Nike had some tents setup for photos, shaved ice, shirts, custom Blazers, custom griptape art and complimentary Fuku spicy fried chicken sandwiches.
