Fresh out of the box.

I love, love, love comfortable shoes – did I say love? Ok, the squishier the better (I’m old and heavier than you 20 year old skate-all-day-without-a-care-in-the-world kids!) The Adidas Suciu ADV are right up there in comfort. They’re soccer boot (euro term) inspired, with a wide toe cap and they fit snug around your foot like cheese melting over your mom’s turkey burger on the skillet, but what really makes this shoe, is the insole, Adidas basically took your grandmother’s sofa and fit it in a shoe, then, as if that wasn’t enough, they put little barbs on the top of the insole to catch onto your sock and keep your foot in place. So, your mom’s melted cheese on top and your grandma’s sticky soft sofa on the bottom – what more can you ask for! They skate amazing, the suede, despite the comfort, is thick and supple and the board feel is amazing as the sole is pretty thin and sticky because all of the cushion is in the insole which you’ll prolly take out and put in your everyday shoes (#facts!)

After some wear and tear but still holding up.

Style, I’ll say 9, they look equally as good worn in as they do new and out of the box. Skate ability, 9, they’re snug, soft and just the right amount of board feel with a thick supple hide around them. Comfort, 9.75 – they’re just comfort – period, not gonna repeat myself. Try them out when you can, $80 or so at your local shop.
