This Sunday (6/21) is the official Go Skateboarding Day, skateboarding’s official holiday celebrated throughout the world. Nike SB will be the major sponsor again this year for NYC coordinating a series of events with the help of Steve Rodriguez and some of the local skate shops. In addition to the Nike events we’re continuing the 21+ Adult GSD which could be more appealing to the older skateboarders of NYC. Also, Richmond Hood Company is hosting GSD for Staten Island at the new Faber skate park. Schedules and more info about the events listed below.

Sunday 6/21 GSD (all ages):
11AM – 1PM – Nike events at the Astoria park (Queens), River Ave park (Bronx) and LES park (Manhattan)
2PM – 3PM – Everyone meeting up at LES park (Manhattan)
3:30PM – Skate to Nike SB’s Pop-up park in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) over the bridge
4PM – Pop-up Nike park (50 Kent Ave) opens. Best trick contest, demo & product giveaways
