Back in September we headed up to Peekskill, NY to skate 2nd Nature’s indoor skate park. We shot some photos and interviewed park owner Doug Brown but when we got home we discovered that the footage was ruined. Our return trip kept getting postponed so now after the recent snow storm we decided to post the photos giving everyone a closer look at the park. We hope to put together another interview with Doug this year.
The Trip: Driving from Broooklyn wasn’t so bad, trip is only about an hour and a half and it’s pretty direct.
The Park: Two major lanes flow and a mini-ramp with it’s own room (upstairs). Psyched on the wide bank constructed with real bricks. Check the pics below to see everything in detail.
Sessions: A 3 hour session will run you $12 throughout the week and all day (including weekends) is $15. Memberships available for 1 Month = $100, 3 Month = $275, 6 Month = $500, Full Year: $800. Hours: Monday – Thursday (1PM – 9PM), Friday (1PM – 10PM), Saturday & Sunday (11AM – 10PM). Check their site before you go as prices or hours may change.

- No bikes
- No graffiti
- No glass containers
- No fighting or shoving
- Please dispose of your trash properly
- No alcohol or illegal substances allowed
- No skating in the shop, lounge or parking lot
- Helmets and pads are strongly recommended
Other Stuff: To start the park is owned & operated by skateboarders! There’s also a shop just in case you need a drink, break something or want to pickup some dope 2nd Nature gear. They also do workshops, lessons and events so keep an eye on our calendar for flyers.
