Supreme is dropping a new artist series of decks, this time with Harmony Korine (director, writer, filmmaker & artist). Read Supreme’s Facebook announcement below.

Harmony Korine is a Writer, Director, Filmmaker, and Artist whose work all has a distinct point of view that often highlights youth culture, dysfunctionality, mental disorders, poverty and other social ills. Korine wrote the groundbreaking film Kids, as a teenager living in New York. Among other things Kids depicted the skate scene in New York in the early 90’s, and featured many famed NY skaters including Harold Hunter and Justin Pierce. Korine also wrote and directed Gummo, which caused controversy for its violence and unintelligible style, but won him honors and top prizes at the Venice film festival.

Outside of his film making, Korine is a published author, artist and music video director who has worked with Christopher Wool, Sonic Youth, Cat Power, and Bjork among others.

This season Supreme will be releasing two skateboard decks with original artwork done by Harmony Korine.
